The Real truth of Black empowerment began by word of mouth.

 

But, in order to get the people to understand the real issues, the facts and what they needed to do to take a stand came out of the Press.

 

 

Dan Burley, was the first who told the message to a new height which opened the doors for communications to people of not only the plight of America Blacks but also moved the country by reporting using humor, the heart break and the reality of being black in the era's after Slavery.

 

His Daughter D'Anne Burley who exposed to the hidden factors of the man, his work and how his efforts effected the civil rights movement

this story has become removed from the history book as it can explain how we got to where we are today, and why if change is not fullfilled the youth of this country will not have the power to achieve their dreams.
